I will often look at places of interest and will recommend locations to visit. It goes without saying that you visit such places at your own risk. Always wear sturdy footwear when doing any walking/hiking and always wear clothing appropriate for the weather conditions. Remember that the weather can change very rapidly in mountainous areas (I once got caught in a blizzard on top of Ben Nevis in the middle of summer) and that the temperature drops about 1 degree C for every 100m up the hill, so take something warm in your backpack even in summer. In addition to clothing, always bring plenty of water (or a means of purification) and enough food for your planned walk, and if it’s really sunny, some sun protection is advised.
